Membership Term
ADSA® Membership is based on the calendar year
(January 1 through December 31).

Two Professional Divisions:
Production Division — primarily concerned with the cattle production phases of the dairy industry.
Dairy Foods Division — focuses on the processing, product, and distribution phases of the dairy industry.

Membership Types:
Professional Membership — $110.00

Undergraduate Student Membership — $5.00

Graduate Student Membership — $10.00

Post Doctorate Membership — $55.00

e-Membership — Available only through ADSA Global Partner organizations and to individuals who reside outside of the US and Canada, this electronic membership was designed for those who have an interest in dairy science, but may not have the time or budget to attend ADSA’s annual meeting, or cost-justify full membership in ADSA due to a different area of specialization.

Journal of Dairy Science®
All individual members have electronic access to the Journal of Dairy Science as a benefit of membership and have the option of receiving a paper copy of JDS for an additional fee. Back issues are sent for orders received after the start of the calendar year.

News of the association is published each April and October in ADSA News.

    Locate and stay in touch with professional colleagues via a directory of members' addresses, phone numbers, and areas of primary interest. This directory also includes members of the American Society of Animal Science and the Poultry Science Association, the other two founding members of the Federation of Animal Science Societies.

Transitional Membership

To help student members transition to professional status, ADSA offers a 50% discount from full professional member dues in the first year following graduation (undergraduate, graduate, and post docs). In addition, S-PAC is offered at the applicable student rate for the transition year.


CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

For companies and organizations with an interest
in the dairy industry.

Benefits:

Membership belongs to the corporation, not to the corporate representative; if the corporate representative leaves the corporation, the membership is transferred to the new corporate representative.

Two options to meet your needs are available; additional fee is required for each:

Option A:  Corporations may choose to reimburse the professional dues of one or more employees, who would then have individual electronic access to JDS.  Professional members may purchase a paper copy of the Journal for an additional fee, and have access to all other individual member benefits described above.
