General Information:

The 4th International Workshop on Lactation in Farm Animals will be held in Denver, Colorado immediately preceding the joint annual meeting of the American Society of Animal Science and American Dairy Science Association. Four sessions will be held with two invited speakers and one invited short presentation in each session. The primary purpose of the workshop is to convene researchers, teachers and government and industry representatives together to discuss timely topics related to lactation in farm animals.

Speakers and discussion leaders are encouraged to be thought-provoking and to encourage discussion. All participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentation as posters, using the form for the ASAS/ADSA meeting. The submitting author should indicate on the form that the poster is to be presented at the Workshop on Lactation in Farm Animals. Follow other instructions for submission to the ASAS/ADSA meeting. The proceedings of the workshop including invited presentations, abstracts and discussion will be published in a Supplement to the Journal of Animal Science.
