Activities Symposium
This year, we have again scheduled the activities symposium during the student program. Briefly, the Activities Symposium consists of ten-minute presentations given by each chapter. The topic of the presentation should be an activity that is unique to your dairy club or an activity that is highly successful for your chapter. Areas of interest may include a fund raising, promotional, educational, or a social event.
This is an excellent opportunity for each chapter to share their club work with the other representatives attending the meeting. The activities symposium can be a very valuable exchange of ideas that will help other chapters in organizing new activities.
In an effort to effectively organize the symposium, each chapter should complete the form and send it to ADSA-SAD postmarked by May 1. A brief outline of the organization and execution of the activity to be discussed would be most helpful for other representatives to have at the time of your presentation. The outline should not exceed two typewritten pages and should be forwarded with the completed entry form. Outlines and forms received after May 1 will be included in the program only as time permits. Computer and LCD projector will be provided. The SAD Second Vice President will coordinate the discussion for the Activities Symposium.
To help minimize computer-related problems at the symposium, participating clubs will be contacted in advance of the meeting with information regarding advance submission of their presentations.
