Chapter Web Site Competition
The purpose of the Chapter Web Site Competition is to reward clubs who effectively promote, through their web site, their club and its activities, the dairy industry, and careers in dairy science. Many clubs have developed or are in the process of developing a web site to compliment their promotional efforts.
Only SAD chapters with current, paying members of ADSA (dues must be paid by May 1) are eligible to participate. To enter your club’s web site in the competition, complete the following Chapter Web Site Competition Entry Form and return to headquarters by May 15. Please note: competition entries received within reasonable time after the stated deadline will be accepted, but clubs will incur a 5-point late deduction on the Outstanding Chapter Award Scorecard. Chapter web sites will be judged in June. All chapters are strongly encouraged to participate even if they cannot attend the Annual Meeting. The web site must be created by SAD members. The top three sites will receive a certificate. In addition, the 1st place chapter will receive a $100 cash award, the 2nd place chapter will receive a $50 cash award, and the 3rd place chapter will receive a $25 cash award. The SAD Secretary-Treasurer chairs the Chapter Web Site Competition selection committee.
Because of varying degrees of server control at each university, this award will not be based on which site contains the most graphics or photos. Instead, it will be based on content and presentation. Review the Web Site Competition Scorecard for more information.
