Outstanding Chapter Yearbook/Scrapbook Contest

Again, the Student Affiliate Division of the American Dairy Science Association will conduct an outstanding chapter yearbook/scrapbook contest. First, second, and third place entries will receive plaques along with monetary awards of $100, $50, and $25, respectively.

One advisor, one student, and one industry person from nonparticipating schools will judge each yearbook/scrapbook entry on appearance, content, and arrangement. The SAD First Vice President will chair the committee and the SAD First Year Advisor will help.

To effectively organize the yearbook/scrapbook contest, each chapter should complete the Outstanding Chapter Yearbook/Scrapbook Entry Form and send it to ADSA Headquarters postmarked by May 1. Please note: competition entries received after the stated deadline will be accepted, but clubs will incur a 5-point late deduction on the Outstanding Chapter Award Scorecard.

 

Please bring your yearbook/scrapbook to the first SAD business meeting for judging. If your chapter is not planning to attend the meetings, but would like to be eligible for the yearbook/scrapbook contest, then send a copy to ADSA-SAD, 1111 N. Dunlap Avenue, Savoy, IL 61874, four weeks prior to the annual meeting.
