As members of the American Dairy Science Association® (ADSA®), contributors to and readers of the Journal of Dairy Science® (JDS) we sometimes fail to appreciate what a great resource we have at our disposal. We recognize the outstanding research conducted by our peers and reported in the JDS, as well as the behind the scenes work done by editors and staff in publishing the journal, but we may just consider it normal operations. We are excited to be able to share with you the good news that a highly respected, independent, international evaluation has confirmed the high esteem in which we should all hold the Journal of Dairy Science. It has been rated it as the top journal in its field by three different measures. Details are included in the attached release. Congratulations to everyone who is part of the team effort that makes the JDS the best in the world.
