Join a focus group: Help shape the future of Discover Conferences

As we plan for the forthcoming 49th Discover Conference and approach a milestone—our 50th Discover event—we’re assessing how we can best facilitate the Discover experience.

ADSA is hosting a series of short online focus groups to hear directly from our community about the value of, and expectations for, future Discover events:

Each facilitated session will involve small breakout groups so that there’s genuine space to share your perspective and shape the future of Discover events. Spots are limited to ensure all voices can be heard, so register promptly!

Statement on Media Participation
DISCOVER Conferences offer an environment and format that encourage exciting interactions among scientists focusing on topics of importance to the science of food animal agriculture. The program is designed to provide a format and venue to encourage in-depth discussion of cutting-edge science. There will be no proceedings, and citations or references from the conference will not be allowed so that free and open exchange of new or controversial issues may be achieved. Scientists, educators, practitioners, and others with an interest in the DISCOVER program are encouraged to participate. This includes members of the Media.

To ensure free dialogue among attendees, we ask our media partners to abide by the same policy of all DISCOVER attendees: presentations, discussions and materials provided at the DISCOVER Conference should not be cited, duplicated, or referenced without the consent of Discover Conference management.  To accomplish this, Media will be asked to submit conference related text to DISCOVER Conference Coordinators for approval prior to publication.

To register as a Media representative, please contact Conference Coordinator Molly Kelley at mollyk@adsa.org.
