Nicholas Uzee receives The Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award

Champaign, IL (June 3, 2020)—The American Dairy Science Association® (ADSA®) is pleased to announce Nicholas Uzee as the 2020 recipient of The Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award. Uzee will be recognized during the virtual ADSA Annual Meeting.

The Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award was created to recognize distinguished undergraduates who have demonstrated leadership ability, academic achievement, involvement in the industry, and participation in the ADSA Student Affiliate Division (SAD) and local club activities.

Nicholas Uzee is a graduating senior at Louisiana State University (LSU) majoring in animal sciences with a concentration in dairy production. Uzee became interested in the dairy industry after joining the Dairy Science Club his freshman year. Since then, he has served in various executive positions in this organization. In addition to the club, Uzee has gained extensive industry knowledge by attending the United States Dairy Education and Training Consortium and participating in the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge and ASAS Academic Quadrathlon. Uzee currently serves as the LSU Dairy Science Club president and ADSA SAD first vice president.

It is with great pleasure that ADSA and the ADSA Foundation present Nicholas Uzee with the 2020 The Genevieve Christen Distinguished Undergraduate Student Award.
