Anna-Maija Heikkilä receives Journal of Dairy Science® Highly Cited Award

Champaign, IL (May 19, 2021)—The American Dairy Science Association® (ADSA®) is pleased to announce Anna-Maija Heikkilä as a 2021 recipient of the Journal of Dairy Science (JDS®) Highly Cited Award. Heikkilä will be recognized during the virtual ADSA Annual Meeting.

The number of citations a published study receives provides an excellent indication of its importance to its research community. The JDS Highly Cited Award program has been established by ADSA to formally recognize contributors to JDS whose work significantly affects research and the dairy industry.

The JDS Highly Cited Award was awarded to Anna-Maija Heikkilä and coauthors for their paper titled “Pathogen-specific production losses in bovine mastitis,” which was published in the August 2018 issue of JDS.

It is with great pleasure that ADSA presents Anna-Maija Heikkilä with the 2021 JDS Highly Cited Award.
